Mrs. Desselle provides speech and language support at Blackhawk Intermediate School (grade 4 and PRIDE grades 3 &4), Highland Middle School (grades 5-8 and PRIDE), and Blackhawk High School (grades 9-12 and PRIDE). In speech and language support, student goals are aligned to Pennsylvania’s Core Standards to help students achieve to their potential in the areas of speaking, writing, listening, and reading to facilitate communicative competence as well as academic and social success.
