Welcome to Odyssey 

Today we begin a new chapter in our online learning. Each day you’ll come to my website and view the assignments for the next two weeks. The links might look the same from week to week, but the assignments will be different.

The Odyssey link is where you will do Math and Language Arts. LA (language arts) is a combination of reading, spelling and grammar. You will complete these lessons daily. Some lessons will take more time than others. 

You should be working for about 30 minutes in math and 30 minutes in language arts every day. If you finish early or want to keep learning, please click on the links that will be on the webpage each week for extra practice. Reading daily and practicing math skills will help get you ready for third grade!

Try to learn this poem by practicing it each day, just like we practice our poems at school!  When you think you are ready to say it to the class, you can recite it to everyone during our next Zoom meeting!
 
Patience
Chocolate Easter bunny
In a jelly bean nest,
I'm saving you for very last
Because I love you best.

I'll only take a nibble
From the tip of your ear
And one bite from the other side
So that you won't look weird.
Yum, you're so delicious!
I didn't mean to eat
Your chocolate tail till Tuesday.
Ooops! There go your feet!
I wonder how your back tastes
With all that chocolate hair.
I never thought your tummy
Was only filled with air!
Chocolate Easter bunny
