 Students should be able to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of the spelling words and patterns
• Apply phonics skills and High Frequency Words
• Read with fluency
• Demonstrate comprehension of text and comprehension focus skills
• Demonstrate an understanding of vocabulary words
• Write an informational/explanatory paragraph
• Use grade appropriate conventions and grammar
• Solve addition and subtraction word problems
• Memorize sums to 18
• Accurately add and subtract 3-digit numbers with regrouping
• Use standard and metric tools to measure
• Organize, represent, and interpret data with up to 4 categories
