1st Quarter Expectations

During the first quarter, we will learn about the rules of school and how to #choosekind. We will learn about Halloween and have a fall festival, complete with costumes! We will read stories from the reading series themes All About Me, Families, and Friends at School. We will learn about spelling words from the at, am, and ap families. We will learn how to complete Daily 5 centers and Guided Reading groups. We will be writing in our journals working to identify letters, sound out words, as well as spelling our names. We will learn about numbers 0 to 5, compare numbers 0 to 5, as well as represent and comparing numbers 6 to 10. We will learn to work in centers.
