4th Quarter Expectations
During the fourth quarter,
we will learn about Easter, spring, Grand Day, careers, Mother's Day, Father's
Day, and summer. We will go on a field trip. We will celebrate Grand Day. We
will read stories from the reading series themes Jobs People Do, Animals
All Around, and On the Go. We will learn about words from the ut, un, ing, eep,
and ake families. We will complete Daily 5 centers and Guided Reading groups.
We will be writing in our journals to create our own stories using our own
thoughts and ideas while trying to fill a page in our journal with our story. We
will identify three-dimensional shapes, measurement, and classifying and
sorting data. We will work in our BUILD centers. We will continue our #choosekind initiative. We will have weekly
discussions about begin kind in all different situations. We will practice
using Word, 3D Paint, and Google Chrome (using our class webpage) when we visit
the computer lab.
