Fifth Grade Art
Students have completed a grid self portrait.  We used our math and measuring skills to make the grid on both a photograph and a paper.  Thhis process helps our drawings to look more realistic.  Students have now moved on to learning about and designing their own skyscraper.  Students are once again using Math in Art, especially when we are using a architectural ruler to draw to scale.  Students are drawing a drawing of the facade and a floor plan drawing of their first floor of their building.
