Super Science Saturday sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh
Super Science Saturday!
Scientists, Engineers, and Mathematicians For Service (SEMFS) from the University of Pittsburgh is inviting you to attend our annual Super Science Saturday! This is a 4 hour long event where we divide up participants by age level and present age-appropriate science, math, and engineering topics and give the kids some creativity and freedom to learn about these topics hands on. Last year the kids had fun modeling the solar system, making bouncy balls, and building roller coasters (just to name a few activities!). This year we have all new events planned, so don't worry about getting bored!
This event will take place Saturday, November 18th from 9am to 1pm in Benedum Hall at the University of Pittsburgh. This event will have STEM presentations and hands on activities for all grade levels from K-12. Feel free to invite anyone who would benefit from this day of science and fun! A registration form is linked below. We will be providing light snacks during the event and have a note on the registration form for any allergies.
Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions! I hope you and your children can make it, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. We are passionate about passing on our love of science and math and we're excited to reach out and introduce children to these fields!

Please note that we will be capping this event at 100 students. If you are unable to sign up in time, we will be creating a wait list in case another child cancels. We are planning to hold this event again in the winter, so keep your eyes out for another invitation!
