1st Quarter Progress
During
the first quarter, we learned about the rules of school and how to choose
Kindness. We learned about apples, colors, and started spelling. We read
stories from the reading series themes All About Me, Families, and Friends at
School. We learned all five of our Daily 5 centers. We wrote in our journals
while working to identify letters, sound out words, as well as spelling our
names. We are experts about numbers 0 to 10 and are even able to compare them!
We worked in our math BUILD centers to further extend our understanding of math
concepts. We participated in Art, Music, Gym, and STEAM class. Mrs. Sharek
takes us to the library and computer lab. We know how to log in and navigate to
Mrs. Sharek's website to complete our online learning activities.
