Here is an update on the lastest custodial changes.  Lisa Cramer was awarded the permanent bid of Head Custodian at BIS where Rich Turkovich has landed!  Susan Minehart is back at the high school and Rhonda Rankin has returned to Highland.  Bonnie has accepted the bid for an afternoon custodian at Highland.  We have 2 new employees at the high school - Alicia Stauffer and Melissa Mortimer.  

We have also hired several substitute custodians - Amy Corona, Zach Groves and Deborah Intrieri.  They are proving to be a great asset to the Blackhawk School District.  

So the 23-24 school year has begun.  Our new FMX software program is in full swing.  Many people have been using the system and keeping the maintenance and custodial departments quite busy.  As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact the maintenance office.

If you love the outdoors and are 18 years or older, we need you.  There is opportunity for you to cut grass.  If you are someone who would rather be indoors, don't be dismayed!  We have summer custodial work available for you.  Either way, please contact Darrin Fleischman.  We would love to have you join our team for the summer months!!

Chris Yingling is now enjoying his retirement!  Rich Turkovich has been helping at Highland and performing the duties of a Head Custodian in the interim.  As soon as that bid has been awarded, we will announce the new Head Custodian at Highland Middle School.  Thank you all for your patience during all the staff changes in the custodial department.
