Math: 

1. Watch:  

2. Complete- 11.5 Length, Height, weight pgs. 673-676. The directions are at the bottom of each page. The materials are suggestions. Please feel free to use materials/manipulatives that you have in your home. If you do not have these materials/manipulatives, feel free to have your child draw to the best of their ability. 

3. Please have your child practice counting to 100 by 10s.  

 

Reading: 

1. Raz-Kids 

  • Sign in using the information provided by your teacher.   Teacher Username= cford60
  • Read at least two stories of your choosing. Complete the quiz at the end of the story.  

Starting this week, kindergarten teachers will be monitoring Raz-Kids for a reading comprehension grade. 

 

Phonics/Phonemic Awareness/Spelling:

Writing:

1. On your rainbow art project for today, please write:  Everything is going to be ok! 

2. If you are able, please take a picture of your art project/sentence and send it to your teacher and then hang it up in a window for everyone to enjoy! 

 

SS/Science: 

1. Mystery Science Video: How are rainbows made? (Safe YouTube) 

  • Watch the video. Discuss with someone what is needed to make a rainbow. 

2. Optional- Try the Walking Rainbow Science Experiment. If you are interested click the link below to try! The only materials you need to have are cups, paper towels, water, and food dye: red, yellow, blue.

1. Find any art supplies you have at your house to make a rainbow big enough to hang in your window. Use what you learned today to help you create your rainbow. Here are some examples: paper, crayons, markers, paint, etc
