Think back to the Scholastic Reader on Tuesday in which the animals are eating their plant lunch. In your agenda on the appropriate date, answer one of the prompts below. 

What would you like for lunch today? 

What did you have for lunch today? 

Make sure your sentence is/has: 

• complete 

• capital letter 

• punctuation 

• finger spaces 

• high frequency words/sight words spelled correctly 

• sound out unknown words (remember to stretch those words out so you can hear all the sounds) 

If you do not have your agenda, you can write on a blank piece of paper. 

SS/Science:

1.Read and discuss the article in Time for Kids called Welcome to Washington, DC.

2.Find Washington, DC on a map of the United States of America.  

Optional- use materials in your home to build/construct a model of the Washington Monument. Send a picture to your teacher.
