1.  Watch:

Math on the Spot Video - Lesson 12.2

2. Complete: Interactive Lesson 12.2
 
3. Login to Think Central and complete Personal Math Trainer Lesson 12.2 (See login drections below.)

  Login Directions:

      1.  Go to https://www-k6.thinkcentral.com/ePC/start.do     

      2.  Complete the following login fields by using the dropdown boxes for each choice            

  • Country: United States 
  • State:  Pennsylvania
  • District:  Blackhawk School District, Beaver Falls 15010 
  • School: Patterson Primary School, Beaver Falls 15010 
       3.  Username: Type in the username provided by your teacher     

       4.   Password: Type in the password provided by your teacher (Letters for this must be lowercase)    
       5.   Click on “Things To Do”   
       6.   Select “Lesson 12.2” from the assignments list and complete.

You do not need to print these out. Log In to Think Central . Click My Library. Click Go Math Student Edition. Type 693 in Go to Page at the top.

Phonics/Phonemic Awareness:

Spelling: 

 Choose one of the follow spelling activities to practice the /un/ words.  Have fun!  

  • Rainbow write your words – use as many colors!
  • Build your words with play doh
  • Write your words with side walk chalk outside (If it’s nice outside!)
  •  Pour a little bit of flour or salt onto a plate. Use your finger to spell the words. Be careful not to make a mess!
Writing:

Write at least 1 sentence with an ‘un’ spelling word in your agenda on the appropriate date. 

Make sure your sentence is/has:

  • complete

  • capital letter

  • punctuation

  • finger spaces

  • high frequency words/sight words spelled correctly

  • sound spell unknown words

If you do not have your agenda, you can write on a blank piece of paper

 

SS/Science: 

1. Read and discuss the article in Time for Kids called Staying Healthy.
