Odyssey 

Welcome back to Odyssey! This week you will see lessons for Week 4 when you login. The extra websites below have some new options if you finish quickly.

You should be working for about 30 minutes in math and 30 minutes in language arts every day. If you finish early or want to keep learning, please click on the links that will be on the webpage each week for extra practice. Reading daily and practicing math skills will help get you ready for third grade!


 

1. Odyssey -Go to this link DAILY

**To login, you will use your username and password from AR. In the field that says "School", you need to type in SVC (You will not be able to select this in the drop down menu, you HAVE to type it in). 

Once logged in, you will be working on the Language Arts section and the Math section. You are to start with Week 1. It will take you through the lessons in order. You can't move onto the next lesson until the one before it is complete.

Every day, you should work on Math for 30 minutes and Language Arts for 30 minutes. You may see other tiles in Odyssey like "LA Extensions". These are fun things you can do for extra practice!
 

2. Heggerty -There is one Heggerty lesson for you to complete each day (optional)

4. Math - Extra Practice (optional) 

Iknowit.com   Practice addition and subtraction with regrouping.

xtramath   Try to improve your speed and number correct. 

 

5. Language Arts - Extra Practice (optional) 

SPELLING CITY Do an activity in lesson 27 to practice the words that were scheduled for this week.

AR  Challenge yourself to read 2 books and pass the AR test at 80% - 100%.

MYON  Read about dinosaurs or other animals you are interested in.

RAZ KIDS  Choose a nonfiction book to read that interests you. Write 5 facts in a journal or your agenda about the topic you read.

 EPIC  Read a book about dinosaurs or another animal you like and take a test on it.
