Title I Program

The Blackhawk School District is providing Title I services for the  Northwestern Primary School students for the 2018-2019 school year. At the primary level, grades K through Second, the District operates a Targeted Title I Reading program. The Federal Government under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 funds this program.   Students are referred for this intervention by teachers and parents based on classroom and test data.  To have your child screened for this program, please contact Mrs. LeDonne, Mrs. Borroni, Mrs. Payne, or Mrs. Leiper via email or call 724-843-5050.
We are committed to supporting your child as they continue their Blackhawk learning experience at home!  In addition to the "Bonus Bags" we sent home Friday, March 13th, we will provide videos below to help your child stay engaged with literacy during this time.
